Environmental Protection Agency RESRAD OVERVIEW

RESRAD is code for evaluation of risk posed by radioactively contaminated sites. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved RESRAD for dose evaluation by licensees involved in decommissioning, and for NRC staff to assess waste disposal requests and dose evaluations. RESRAD follows the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Risk Assessment Guidance for Superfund (RAGS).
