Visualization, Geospatial Interpolation and Geostatistics

A growing acceptance of dynamic field investigation techniques requires that field personnel have the resources for preliminary data analysis in the field. This change has led to enhanced visualization capabilities in DSTs that allow the user to:
Rapidly assimilate new field data
Display contaminant distribution and characteristics
Support dynamic decision-making in the field

1 ERPIMS data can be imported through an Access file or a series of text files (.tes, .res, .sam, .ldi).
2 GeoSEM uses several GIS vector and raster file formats: DOD vector product format (VPF) , ESRI product files, CAD drawings (dxf), ASCI II grids, and georeferenced image formats such as geoTIFs, bitmaps, GIFs, JPGs, and ERDAS.
