NTIS, an agency of the U.S.
Department of Commerce, is the central source for the
public sale of U.S. and foreign government-sponsored
research, development, engineering, and business reports.
NTIS manages the Federal Computer Products Center, which
provides access to software datafiles and data bases by
federal agencies. NTIS is accessibel on the World Wide

Technical and nontechnical
information from government agencies with a heavy
emphasis on the publications of the Departments of
Commerce, Defense, Energy, Health and Human Services,

scientific community. Services are also available to the
general public, libraries, and educational and
