The EPA/Navy CERCLA Remedial Action Technology Guide is a
collection of (1) engineering bulletins produced by EPA's
Technical Support Branch in Cincinnati, Ohio, and (2) remedial
action technical data sheets produced by the Naval Energy and
Environmental Support Activity (NEESA) in Port Hueneme,
California. These documents comprehensively summarize the latest
information obtainable on many of the best available remedial
technologies. The intent is to convey information (based on
previous applications) to help RPMs, engineers in charge,
on-scene coordinators, Navy resident officers in charge of
construction, and contractors decide if a technology should be
used at a hazardous waste site and, if so, what are the relevant
design, implementation, and cost considerations. Addenda will be
issued periodically to update the original bulletins and
technical data sheets, and other technologies may be added.
